GARAGE DANCE STUDIO - EUROPEAN CHAMPIONS 2022!!
GDS
We are a small dance studio near Filey, North Yorkshire, giving dance training to all ages and abilities. Working in association with Patricia Lindley School of Dancing we follow the IDTA syllabus in many styles of dance and are also licensed to teach Zumba, Zumba Kids, Zumba Gold and hold a Level 2 Exercise to Music qualification and an England Athletics Run Leader licence. Pupils can also attend private lessons for competition training, preparation for exams, general technique and just for fun! We also perform small shows and various demonstrations for the local community!
Many pupils compete in Solo Style competitions all over the country, gaining British Championship, European Championship and World Titles. The GDS quad were 2010 World Champions and hold many European titles, including becoming European Champions 2022!
Even though we pride ourselves on or trophy cabinet we are very proud of our dancers of all levels, ages and abilities. The pupils who attend 'just for fun' are just as valued, if not more, and we have a lovely, friendly dance school. Everybody is made to feel special.
